In Kharkov, the security forces detained a Russian serviceman, whose unit was destroyed on the outskirts of the city. The video of the interrogation of the captured soldier was published by the Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
According to the prisoner of war, their military unit was stationed in the Murmansk region. On February 24, their unit was sent to study in Kursk, and from there to Belgorod.
From Belgorod, the soldiers headed for the Ukrainian border. After crossing it, the Russian military tried to retreat, but allegedly received an order to continue the offensive under the threat of execution or a long prison term.
On the outskirts of Kharkov, a column of Russian military equipment was destroyed. The Russian managed to survive. He hid in the woods and tried to return to Russia, but was detained at a checkpoint.
The captured serviceman urged his fellow countrymen to refuse to execute the criminal orders of the command of the RF Armed Forces and to stop terrorist actions against the civilian population of Ukraine.
