Yu.Tymoshenko was transferred to Kharkiv prison

Today, on December 30, at 8 am Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko was transferred to a place of punishment in Kharkiv region (Kachanovsky women prison № 54 - "SQ"). This was reported by the official website of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine.
"Before leaving she was examined by a doctor who came to the conclusion that the state of health allows transportation. To transport Yu.Tymoshenko was provided a comfortable minibus with all facilities (bio-toilet, sink, two sofas). At the same time all her things were sent (12 suitcases) by another car", said at the prison service. "As for announcement at the Internet that Yu.Tymoshenko moved by a wheelchair, this information does not correspond to reality and it is a fabricated circumstance to cause undue sympathy on the state of her health", stressed in the statement.
"SQ" Reference. October 11, the Pechersk Court in Kyiv sentenced Yulia Tymoshenko to 7 years imprisonment. She was found guilty under Part 3. 365 of the Criminal Code (abuse of power and authority) with disqualification to hold certain public offices for three years. The court also ordered Yu.Tymoshenko to reimburse 1 billion 516 million UAH to the "Naftogaz of Ukraine" and court costs too. The Court of Appeal of Kyiv dismissed the appeal of Yu. Tymoshenko against the sentence of the Pechersk District Court and upheld the verdict.
