90% of rooms of a 5-star hotel "Kharkiv Palace" have been already booked for the period of Euro 2012. This was reported "SQ" by the hotel director Olga Sokolenko during the inspection of the hotel. According to her, the hotel will begin to work since February 1. Now staff is being recruited (60% of staff has been already formed).
According to O. Sokolenko, the hotel complex is an underground level (parking for 54 seats) and 13 ground floors. There are lobby, shopping and entertainment facilities, cafe, lobby bar on the first floor of the "Kharkiv Palace". On the second floor there are a restaurant, a multifunctional hall, business center and administrative areas of the hotel. From the 3rd to the 10th floor will be hotel rooms, including two-bedroom presidential "suite". On the top floor will be SPA-center and a restaurant with panoramic view at the Svobody Square. The hotel will have 5 restaurants.
O. Sokolenko reported that the cost of a standard room will be 1600 UAH per day, rooms with high comfort will cost 1900 UAH / day, deluxe rooms - 2990 UAH / day, suites - 3700 UAH / day, the presidential suite - 6000 UAH / day.
"SQ" Reference. The hotel operating and opening ceremony of "Kharkiv Palace" was previously scheduled for December 5, 2011, but later the opening ceremony was postponed to December 14. The volume of investments in the hotel's construction by the chairman of the "DCH" group Alexander Yaroslavsky amounted to 126 million dollars. Its capacity is for 180 apartments.
During the final of the UEFA European Football Championship 2012, according to the signed agreement with UEFA, the headquarters of European Football Union will be located in the "Kharkiv Palace". UEFA target groups will live here.
