Several Ukrainians evacuated from ship "Costa Concordia" were sent to Kharkiv

Twenty-seven Ukrainian citizens evacuated from the cruise ship "Costa Concordia", after arrival at the airport "Boryspil" (Kyiv) were sent to Kyiv, Lviv, Odessa, Simferopol and Kharkiv. This was reported to the "SQ" at the Information Policy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
In the "Boryspil" Ukrainians were met by the representatives of the Foreign Ministry. In Italy, consuls issued identity cards to Ukrainians in order to return to Ukraine, because they had no documents. A few more people will return to Ukraine in the coming days. Three Ukrainians have decided to stay in Italy.
"SQ" Reference. January 14, cruise ship "Costa Concordia", which was carrying more than 4200 people, wrecked off the coast of the Italian region of Tuscany. The ship, according to the captain, got on the reefs, which were not in the navigation map. As a result of the shipwreck five people died and over 67 were injured, the fate of more than 10 passengers is unknown.
It became known on January 15 that 35 Ukrainians were evacuated from the cruise ship, 27 of whom arrived at the international airport "Boryspil" on the same day.
