Japanese industrial giants are interested in Kharkiv project – Regional Economy Department

"At all the presentations of the southeastern stage of the road show conducted by the State Agency for Investments and National Projects, there was a high level of representation", said the Head of Economy Department of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Sergey Avershin, the official website of the Administration reported.
According to S. Avershin, each presentation was attended by 60 executives from leading companies and financial institutions. After presentations representatives of Kharkiv held business meetings with the heads of companies, and now return visits with specific investment opportunities are scheduled to Kharkiv region. "The interest by our innovative projects was expressed by such global giants as "Mitsubishi" and "Hitachi" (Japan), POSCO (South Korea). Also, it was interest in agricultural project "Village of the Future", infrastructure projects on the basis of public-private partnership as well as shale gas and mechanical engineering. For China the exchange of students is a very urgent question too", said S. Avershin.

Investment projects of Kharkiv region are the project "Village of the Future", technology town "Pjatihatki" and IT-park "Intellektronika" that entered the road show, which was held by the State Agency for Investment and National Projects in the world's major financial centers. The event started on October 31 in London (UK). In December, the road show was presented in Tokyo (Japan, December 12), Osaka (Japan, December 13), Seoul (South Korea, December 14), Hong Kong (China, December 15) and Shanghai (China, December19).
