Trade turnover between Kharkiv region and Netherlands has doubled

Foreign trade turnover of Kharkiv region with the Kingdom of the Netherlands amounted to USD 36.3 million for January - November 2011 and has doubled over the same period in 2010. It was reported by the official website of Kharkiv Regional Council.
Exports of Kharkiv enterprises in the Netherlands amounted to USD 15 million and increased by 7 times. Among the major exporters are Ltd "Amkris" (scintillators), PJSC "Kupyansk Dairy" (dairy products), Ltd "Firma "Brig" (inflatable boats), Ltd "Grand Marina" (inflatable boat), Ltd "Typhoon - 2000"(grains).
Imports for January - November 2011 amounted to $ 21.3 million and increased by 43.7%. As of October 1, 2011, foreign direct investment from the Netherlands in Kharkiv region amounted to USD 39 million 261 thousand.
