Foreign trade turnover of Kharkov region has increased by more than 20%

Foreign trade turnover of Kharkov region in the first half of 2010 amounted to 1,5 billion dollars, that is more on 23% than in the first half of 2009. It was said on September 2 during a meeting with Germany Delegation by the deputy chairman of the Kharkov Regional State Administration Yuriiy Sapronov. According to him, exports amounted to 650 million dollars, that is more on 12%. Foreign trade turnover of Kharkov region with Germany in January-July 2010 amounted to $ 65 million, that is more on 13% than it was at the same period last year.
According to Yuriy Sapronov, foreign direct investment in Kharkov region amounted to USD 2 billion 11 million as of July 1,2010.
"SQ"Reference. The delegation from Germany was headed by the Parliament Deputy of Germany Viola Cramon. She is studying the country's preparations for Euro 2012 in Ukraine. After a visit to Kharkov she plans to go to Donetsk.
Kharkov and Donetsk are the Ukrainian cities, where will be championship matches in 2012.
