International project "Kids Republic" starts in Kharkiv

Exhibition of creative works "What world I want to see" will be opened on January 26 in Kharkiv regional organization and methodical center of culture and art. Starting from this event the international project "Kids' Republic" (World Children's and Youth Parliament) has been launched. Aim of the project is to unite children and young people from different countries for cooperation and development of their creative abilities.
According to the Center website, at the exhibition will be presented works of children and young people with special needs, in particular, children from social rehabilitation center for disabled children "Promin", Korolenko Kharkiv regional special boarding school for blind children, Kharkiv regional special comprehensive educational complex for children with hearing impairments, children's home "Family", Center for Rehabilitation of young people with disabilities and their family members "Right of Choice".
It will be presented over 140 images and products created, in particular, by blind children in Braille, children with hearing impairment, locomotor system.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition will be held by participants of a TV-show "Maydans" who are children of Plastic Drama Theatre of the Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity, as well as guitarist Eustace Lavrusenko. The exhibition will run until February 9.
"SQ" Reference. The regional center of culture and art holds the event jointly with a charitable foundation "Artworld", Department of Labor and Social Policy of the Kharkiv City Council, the Institute of Innovative Technology, Ministry of Education, Science, Youth and Sports.
