Budget of Kharkiv region in 2012 will be more than 4 billion UAH

Total revenue of the budget of Kharkiv region in 2012 will amount to 4.299 billion UAH by the project developed for approval at a session of the Regional Council. This was reported by the Head of Financial Department of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Sergey Ovsyannikov at the joint meeting of the Kharkiv Regional Council on December 28.

According to him, the amount of revenue general fund will be 4.18 billion UAH. Special fund will be 110 million UAH (including budget development – 6,012 million UAH). The volume of the regional budget has been calculated taking into account the forecast that industrial output in 2012 will increase by 4.8% and the average salary of full-time employees will increase to 2.4 thousand UAH (16.6% compared to 2011). Receipts from income tax for individuals will make 952 million UAH as 25% of total tax on income of individuals in the region is allocated to the budget. The volume of subsidies for the alignment of financial security of local budgets for the delegated authority is expected to be 495 million UAH. The volume of target subventions from the state budget will be 2.4 billion UAH.

As the chairman of the Regional Council Sergey Chernov said, the question on adoption of regional budget would be considered by the Regional Council. "According to my information, today the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych signed a state budget of 2012. If till 10.00 (time of the session) state budget is published, then the project of the regional budget will be unchanged. In another case, the decision will state that it shall enter into force after the official publication of the state budget for 2012", added S. Chernov.
